It all starts with three short interactive assessments, which will tell us how you might perform in the workplace, and your typical or preferred ways of working. You can do this on any type of device, such as your mobile phones or tablet.

For more technical programmes such as the Expert Aspiring Developer programme and the Expert Data and Analytics programme, we’ll invite you to complete an assessment to show us your technical skills. Depending on the skills required for the role, this may be a numerical assessment or, in the case of the Explorer Developer programme, a more advanced coding assessment, which must be entirely your own work.

For programmes that do not require technical skills, we may invite you to complete a video interview consisting of between three and five questions. We’ll give you time to prepare before you share your answers.

If you’ve been successful so far, we’ll invite you to attend an assessment centre either in person or virtually. This is where you’ll have a further opportunity to show us the relevant strengths, behaviours or technical skills required for the role. The Assessment Centre will involve two or three stages, including a motivational interview with a member of the leadership team. Our assessors will do their best to put you at ease and answer any questions you may have.

To get started, simply research which role suits you best, and then register your interest. We’ll get in touch to let you know what happens next. It’s never too early to start deciding which programme might be right for you. Remember, you don't need work experience for our experiences, or a coding background to go for a technology role. You can only apply to one programme in a six month period, so it's important to research the role so you can choose the right one for you. Please also review the eligibility criteria for each role before applying.

It all starts with the application form, this is an opportunity for you to tell us about any work experience you may have as well as your academic background. The form should take around 30 minutes to complete. We would suggest reviewing the minimum entry criteria for each programme before applying, this information can be found on the relevant programme pages. Please read all instructions carefully and ensure you remember your login details so you can access your application throughout the process. If you are unsuccessful at this stage, initial assessment or digital interview, we will be in touch to make you aware of this, but we would encourage you to apply again in six months for other roles.

You'll receive full instructions via email about the structure and timings of the assessments and whether they need to be completed in one sitting, as well as hints and tips for success on these assessments. You will also get the opportunity to access practice tests which we would recommend completing before the assessments. We suggest you allow 60 minutes for completion and you will need to complete the assessment within five calendar days from the date of your invitation. Please let us know before you start the assessment if you need any adjustments.

This is a digital on demand interview designed to assess key transferable skills required for the role. You will have 3 competency-based questions to answer, and you’ll have time after each question to prepare your answer. You can complete this interview in your own time. Treat this like a face-to-face interview, so wear clothes you'd usually wear to work and take time to prepare. You will be provided with practice questions before starting the assessment, and we would encourage you to do these to get used to the technology and prepare. If you’ve been successful so far, we’ll invite you to attend a motivational interview. This is your opportunity to meet a member of our leadership team and get answers to any questions you might have about the programme and business area you've applied to. It is also your chance to tell us your strengths and motivations for the role.

If we make you an offer, we’ll start to arrange your on-boarding. If we can’t take you on this time, we’ll make sure you know what you can do to improve after this stage, including a personalised feedback report.
